The PowerFloat is a tool design specifically for equine dentistry - it is NOT a drill. Manufactured in Canada, PowerFloats are sold ONLY to Veterinarians.

It has a maximum speed of 5000rpm and is safe for use in a horse's mouth (see Shannon demonstrating this by using it on his finger in the Video Demonstrations section - "PowerFloat is safe"). The PowerFloat can be used to treat periodontal disease, for orthodontics and in the reduction of severe overgrowths - these procedures are not possible with hand tools.
